Departmental Reports

The HRMS M-Pathways system produces 3 types of reports that are normally sent to the Department Manager. The reports may be mailed as hardcopy information or they may be sent as "reminder emails". The types of reports are:

  • Information about HR data is distributed to department managers based on the Department ID that is used as the appointing department for faculty and staff, e.g. email reminders about Forms I-9 that are about to expire.
  • Hardcopy time reports for an entire department are mailed to the Department Manager who is listed for the Department ID that is used as the appointing department for faculty and staff. Quarterly Leave Balance Reports use this same distribution.
  • The printing of the Fund/Department/Program version of the Gross Pay Registers has been discontinued as of the end of September, 2009.

If a department would like a type of report to be sent to someone other than the department manager, it is possible to individually override the mailing of these 3 types of reports for an entire department by completing a "Paperwork Recipient Override" form. There can be only one override recipient for each type of report for each Department ID. Complete as many Sections of the form as needed.

Note: If a department would like to re-direct the Project/Grant version of the Gross Pay Register, they must contact the Financial Operations Coordinator that is responsible for the specific project/grant.

Note:  Hospital departments use the Hospital DataMart rather than the Payroll Data Warehouse for gross pay data.
