Effective 7/1/09, research subject fees will no longer be paid in the payroll system.  The method of payment of a research subject fee is not related to the employment relationship of the individual.  An updated SPG 501.7 provides a form, "Subject Fee Payment Form", that will be used for research subject fee payments.  Click here for the updated "Subject Fee Payment Form."
